What is Roots and Wings and why might I want to attend?

Roots and Wings is the annual gathering of lay people and clergy in the Puget Sound District. We offer workshops to help leaders in the local church learn more about their committees and positions, as well as offering workshops for personal and church spiritual growth.

We are fortunate to have beautiful Cama Beach State Park right on our doorstep. Come and hear the latest regarding this special park. Carol Triplett will give a "Cama Beach Update." Soup, bread and dessert will be available for $5.00. The program starts at 10:45 with lunch to follow around noon.

Crazy Quilters

This group meets once a month and sews well over 300 quilts a year for the Linus Project which supplies quilts to children in crisis throughout the area. They meet in Anderson Hall on the first Friday of each month at 9AM and sew til late afternoon. Anyone interested in joining this group is welcome. Basic sewing skills needed but material and batting are supplied. If you don't have a machine, one may be available. Please call Carolyn Gregory at 629-4014 for more information.
